Base32

Base32 is an encoding that represents binary data using 32 safe characters, the letters A to Z and the digits 2 to 7.

Each character carries 5 bits, so the output is about 60% larger than the input (Base64 adds 33%). Hello encodes to JBSWY3DP. It is case-insensitive and avoids easily confused characters, which is why one-time-password secrets use it.
