Body surface area (BSA)

Body surface area is the total skin area of the body in square metres, used to scale drug doses and some physiological measures.

The Mosteller formula is √(height in cm × weight in kg / 3600): 175 cm and 70 kg give 1.84 m². The DuBois formula gives a similar value.
