Permutation

A permutation is an ordered arrangement of items; `P(n, k) = n! / (n − k)!` counts the ways to arrange k items chosen from n.

Arranging 3 of 10 people in order (such as first, second and third place) gives 10 × 9 × 8 = 720. Order matters; when it does not, use a Combination.
