Projectile motion

Projectile motion is the curved path of an object thrown or launched and then moving only under gravity, ignoring air resistance.

On level ground the range is v² × sin(2θ) / g, longest at 45°. Launched at 20 m/s at 45° it travels 40.79 m. Real projectiles fall shorter because of drag.
