QR code

A QR code is a two-dimensional barcode, a square grid of dark and light modules, that stores text or a link and is read by a phone camera.

It comes in versions 1 to 40, from 21 × 21 to 177 × 177 modules, and four error-correction levels recovering about 7%, 15%, 25% or 30% of damage. Version 40 at level L holds up to 7,089 digits. See How QR Codes and Barcodes Work.
