Density

Density is mass per unit volume, `ρ = m / V`; it tells you how tightly matter is packed.

54 g of aluminium filling 20 cm³ has a density of 2.7 g/cm³. Water is about 1 g/cm³, so objects denser than that sink. Density depends on temperature.
