Slug

A slug is the readable, URL-safe part of an address that identifies a page, usually lowercase words joined by hyphens, such as how-dns-works.

Good slugs are short, descriptive and stable, use hyphens rather than underscores or spaces, and drop accents and punctuation. Changing a slug later breaks existing links unless you add a Redirect.
