One Picture per Page
Every picture gets its own page, centred and scaled to fit without stretching, on A4, US Letter, A3, A5, Legal or a page the size of the picture.
JPEGs Stay Untouched
A JPEG is placed in the PDF exactly as it is, with no recompression, so there is no quality loss and the PDF stays small.
Reorder and Remove
See thumbnails of every page, move them up or down, and drop the ones you do not want before creating the file.
Nothing Is Uploaded
The PDF is written in your browser. Your pictures and the finished file never leave your device.
Getting a Good PDF from Pictures
A PDF page is a fixed size in points, and a picture is a grid of pixels, so the two only meet through scaling. Choosing "same size as the picture" gives a page that matches the picture exactly (at 96 pixels per inch, plus your margin), which suits screenshots and scans you will read on a screen. Choosing A4 or Letter scales the picture to fit inside the margins without stretching it, leaving white space on the sides when the shapes differ, which suits anything you plan to print.
For the best quality, use original JPEG files: they are embedded byte for byte. Other formats such as PNG and WebP, and JPEGs that rely on a rotation tag, are redrawn and saved as JPEG at the quality you set, with transparent areas turned white because PDF pages here have no alpha channel. A scan saved as PNG will therefore be smaller in the PDF than the PNG was, at some loss of sharpness in fine text; raise the quality to 100 for documents.
