What Is It Good For?
Extraction saves hours of copying by hand: harvest the addresses from a pasted email thread, list every link in a page's source, pull the IPs out of a server log, collect the figures from a report, or gather every hashtag from a batch of posts.
Matching is pattern-based, so treat results as a strong first pass. Phone numbers are matched loosely (7 to 15 digits, dates and IP addresses excluded) because formats vary widely, and numbers assume a dot for decimals and commas for thousands.
Key Takeaways
- Fast: Results update as you type or switch type.
- Accurate IPs: Only valid IPv4 addresses (each part 0-255, no leading zeros) are returned.
- Reusable: One item per line, ready to paste into a spreadsheet or script.
